Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22.06.26
These terms are provided for an early-access MVP and may change.
1. About ClayOS Lab
ClayOS Lab Inc ("ClayOS Lab", "we") is a co-creation platform that connects buyers with independent makers and helps them align on custom handmade pieces. ClayOS Lab provides the tools (co-creation preview, feasibility check, lead and order management). The makers are independent and are responsible for crafting and fulfilling the pieces.
2. The role of ClayOS Lab
ClayOS Lab facilitates the connection and the design conversation. Any order, price, payment and delivery is agreed directly between the buyer and the maker. ClayOS Lab is not the seller or manufacturer of the pieces and is not party to that agreement, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. AI previews
Previews generated on the platform are AI-assisted illustrations to align expectations. They are not a guarantee of the final piece, which is handmade and will naturally vary. The feasibility indicator is an aid, not a binding commitment.
4. Your content
You keep the rights to the ideas and inputs you submit. By submitting them, you grant ClayOS Lab and the relevant maker a limited licence to use them to produce your preview, evaluate feasibility, and fulfil your request. Do not submit content you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful, offensive, or infringing.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the platform — no unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, no impersonation.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" during this early-access period. We don't warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ClayOS Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between buyers and makers regarding orders.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated version.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
